The headset for a Xbox 360, what you need to know?   Leave a comment

headphonesI don’t know how you came here as you read it on social media, twitter, facebook, google +, stumble upon or somewhere else. But thank you for visiting and I hope you like reading this as much as I did.

Xbox has been something of a revelation since its initial release back in 2001. At the time, many of us (including this writer) had our doubts about the viability of a Microsoft gaming console. But Xbox got off to a cracking start and has since showed no signs of slowing down.

A case in point; the founders of this site had a friend who had asked his parents for a PS2 for Christmas and was incredibly disappointed on Christmas Day when he learned that they had mistakenly bought him an Xbox. Now however, some 12 years later, he is still an Xbox gamer and shows little, if any, interest in getting a PS3.

Why’s that then? Xbox is great for playing online, alone, or with a few friends and has successfully married the best of PC gaming with the best of console gaming. The games are enthralling, immersive multiplayer adventures that keep you entertained for hours…And therein lays the problem.

Y’see, although the online functions are absolutely incredible, you still need a headset in order to liaise with other players verbally. In addition, if you want to stay up past your partner’s bed time because you’ve ‘just gotten to the good bit’ (we’ve all been there), then you’ll also need a headset. Likewise, if your housemate or significant other is watching the TV and doesn’t want the atmospheric music and chilling sound effects of the latest Xbox release (for whatever reason), you’ll need a headset.

I suppose you can see the point that we’re (rather forcefully) trying to make here.

A headset really does open up a whole new dimension of the Xbox, or, at least, a good one does. A bad headset just sounds, well…Sketchy. How can you have fun listening to your enemies beg you not to grind them into the dust (as you grind them into the dust) when their desperate pleas are all crackly and static-y? Or, failing that, you might, mishear your squadron commander as you open fire on your own team and blow the mission straight to hell. Worse still, you’ll have absolutely no excuse when called away to take out the recycling in the middle of a high-pitched space battle. Yeah, you heard it (dammit).

You don’t just need a headset. You need a good headset.

That’s where we come in.

Our site gives you up to date news, reviews and features on all things Xbox-headset related. We offer the best selections, the best prices and the best advice that money can buy…Actually, that last part isn’t true. In actuality, its three geeks huddled round a laptop, but you get the idea.

Did we mention that you should get a headset?

Should you cherished this post along with you wish to be given more info regarding walkie Talkie Headset i implore you to visit our web site.

Can You Prevent Cell Phone Radiation With the Bluetube Headset and Airtube Handsfree?   Leave a comment

Thankyou for reading my blog, here is a piece of writing i actually loved reading. With their consent i’m able to repost it. I compose plenty of my own articles, but occasionally repost other content i find fascinating, thankyou for reading.

Mobile phone radiation is starting to become a preferred subject among many when it comes to health. Many once thought that the idea of radiation being emitted from these products was simply an urban parable. However, after many years of systematic research, it’s been established that these telecommunication devices do, in reality, emit some level of danger – with electromagnetic radiation.

This occurs because for a user of these devices to get a signal to make a receive calls, radio signals must be there. These are broadcast using radio-frequency energy. This form of energy is a kind of radiation that is thought to be “electromagnetic”. Here, you may find out about cell telephone radiation and how it’s possible for you to duck the danger with the BlueTube Headset.

When I first learned of the complications that mobile phones could probably pose to people, I started conducting research on tactics that I could protect myself, as well as my buddies and family and friends from this danger without utterly junking these convenient devices from our lives altogether. It is then I discovered what’s known as the “airtube headset”. While this was said to be a useful cure for a few years, at last I ran across a fresh product that was called the “Blue Tube Headset”.

This device was more structurally sound and appeared to supply a higher shield level from exposure to threatening energy levels emitted from mobile phones. The team that designed this piece actually worked for more than a decade to guarantee . The product was sturdy and may be used for an extended period of time without experiencing damage. It was made with the theory of the airtube headset to mind, but it basically filtered transmissions away from the head and the ear canal. As well as this, the sound quality wasn’t influenced.

When an individual is exposed to cell telephone radiation, many things happen that may have a direct effect on the fitness of that person. First, and naturally, the exposure comes in direct contact with the head and ear area.

This power source has the potential to essentially warm the tissues ; very similar to a microwave does, when there is close contact. The following list demonstrates some of the dangerous complications of exposure to electro-magnetic radiation : Damage to the eyes an mild to dreadful headaches.

Cancers in and round the area of the brain numerous sorts of cancers exaggerated levels of fatigue
The development of Dementia and Alzheimer’s Illness. By taking a product and placing it into place as an element of your daily cell telephone use regime, you might potentially be avoiding all these difficulties, as well as other health worries that are presently being studied by health execs. Mobile Phone Radiation Prevention methods in association with the ever-popular BlueTube Headset, there are numerous other cell telephone radiation prevention methodologies.

The following details some steps that you can take to stop the quantity of exposure that you experience : try and purchase mobile phones that implement the use of a headset that is known as “hands-free”. When using the device, adjust the antenna to where it is in the fullest upright position.

When using cell telephones, it is vital to do so in spaces that are wide and open. Only use the cell phone when the signal strength is at maximum capacity. If you employ it at other times, it will work more conscientiously to acquire a signal which indicates more radio wave energy is being broadcast.

Conclusion As you can see, mobile phone radiation is a heightening concern for every one of us. Many health issues have been accredited to exposure to the radiation that these devices emit. If you would like to keep on using your cell telephone, it is critical to take some preventative measures. One of the first things that you can do is purchase the BlueTube Headset. As well as this, using the device when signal strength is at its fullest and in open spaces can be of benefit too.

What Is an Ultrasonic Transducer   Leave a comment

Cant get over how low-priced the earpiece is now, an incredible deal for any top-end product!
An ultrasonic transducer is an electrical component that converts ultrasonic sound waves beyond the range of human hearing into alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC) electrical signals that are then transmitted or recorded. Usually such devices are built upon crystals that demonstrate a piezoelectric effect, which conduct electrical current in response to mechanical stress or vibrations. The crystals have directly proportional output to the strength of the input sound wave or stress, and this makes them useful measuring devices as an ultrasonic transducer.

Applications for ultrasonic transducer-based electronics included use in early television remote controls as signal devices, and, as of 2011, in anemometers used by weather stations to monitor wind course and speed. They are used in industrial applications to monitor the level of fluid in a tank, and in modern-day automobiles as of 2011 for echo location sensors to indicate objects in close proximity to the path of a vehicle that is backing up or pulling into a garage. Since an ultrasonic transducer can also play the role of an ultrasonic transmitterthrough input electrical power, they offer the capability of a primitive type of sonar in many cases. Sound waves can be reflected off of a surface and the distance to that surface measured by the time and frequency of the wave that bounces back.

Electrical devices that convert one form of energy to another, like ultrasonic sensors, often have widespread applications in electronics and industry. Many diverse uses for the ultrasonic transducer now exist, including in environmental controls for buildings, such as in humidifiers where they vaporize the surface of the water, and in burglar alarms to detect objects moving within an otherwise clear path. Ultrasonography also relies on the principle of an ultrasonic transducer in medicine, where sound waves of 1 to 30 megahertz are employed to remotely generate imagery for the state of muscles, internal organs, and blood vessels in the human body, as well as the state of a fetus during pregnancy.

Since the era of the 1940s, the ultrasonic transducer has been incorporated into testing equipment to detect flaws in a range of sonar-related applications. They can be used to find fine cracks, voids, or porous sections in concrete and building foundations, damaged or fractured metal welds, and flaws in other materials such as plastic, ceramic, and composites. The devices are versatile because the sound waves that they emit will be affected by any medium, whether liquid, solid, or gas. With a detector used to measure gas status, however, an intermediate gel is usually placed between the gas and the ultrasonic transducer, as sound waves are otherwise poorly conducted and recorded in a gas medium.

The field of flaw detection for ultrasonic technology is broken down into five different types of transducer designs: contact, angle beam, delay line, immersion, and dual element transducers. Contact transducers have to have close contact proximity to what they are measuring, such as a stud finder in the building trade used to detect wooden beams behind walls. An immersion transducer is waterproof and placed in a fluid flow. Both angle beam and delay line forms of an ultrasonic transducer are used to measure welds and in conditions of high temperatures. The dual element transducer is simultaneously a transmitter and receiver for continuous monitoring of rough or potentially flawed surfaces.

Plan B and Chris Martin back earplug campaign   Leave a comment

earpieceWithout giving too much about this radio earpiece piece, but I found it interesting and significant to what I’m currently doing.

Continue reading the main story I damaged my hearing Mark Savage BBC News entertainment reporter Twenty years ago, as the CD I was listening to faded out, I noticed a constant, high-pitched hum in my room.
It sounded like a TV had been left on with the sound turned down. But the TV was unplugged at the wall.
Eventually, I chose to ignore the noise and slowly wrestled myself to sleep. When I woke, it was still there. It is still there today.

I developed tinnitus because I play the drums. It turns out that the volume and pitch of the cymbals, positioned handily at ear level, is a perfect way to damage your hearing. But even a short exposure to loud noise can trigger tinnitus.
Luckily, my condition is manageable and I cannot hear the 16kHz buzz above normal conversation. But I wish someone had offered me ear protection when I was younger. You don’t miss silence until it’s gone.

“When I first developed it, I thought it was trains rushing by my house as I live near a railway line – it was really loud and an extremely high-pitched ringing in my ears,” the 28-year-old singer says.
“There’s no doubt it’s been caused by years of being on stage and subjected to very loud decibels of music.”
The Action on Hearing Loss campaign includes adverts and a video featuring people’s ears being attacked by a drill or hammer.

Earplugs will be handed out during London’s Camden Crawl this weekend, which showcases new music talent and is credited with bringing artists such as Amy Winehouse into the limelight.
“Looking after your ears is unfortunately something you don’t think about until there’s a problem,” said Coldplay’s Chris Martin, who is also backing the campaign.

“I’ve had tinnitus for about 10 years, and since I started protecting my ears it hasn’t got any worse. But I wish I’d thought about it earlier.
“Now we always use moulded filter plugs, or in-ear monitors, to try and protect our ears.”
The Coldplay frontman has been suffering from tinnitus since he was 25 The campaign includes five tips on how music lovers can avoid permanent damage to their ears, including standing back from speakers and using chillout zones in clubs.

Judge Jules, Jazzie B and DJ Smith have added their backing, while 70s chart-topper Gary Numan said he wished he had taken advice earlier.
“I didn’t look after my ears and I’m in trouble,” said Numan, 54. “It’s getting serious, to the point that I can’t mix my music properly anymore, so it’s majorly impacted on my career.
“If I’d just looked after them when I was younger then this would never have happened, so I very much regret it.

“I would often be at gigs, standing at the front next to the speakers, not wearing earplugs, thinking I’m cool and being manly, but that’s just rubbish, it’s stupid.
“So look after your hearing and wear earplugs.”

worst toy of 2013 is the ipotty   Leave a comment

Whilst many of our visitors might be keen on some of our own posts, here is one i discovered whilst surfing around blogger that is far better written than I might ever dream to achieve. Maybe in the future I’ll get to this level, you never know.

The Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood (CCFC) has officially selected the ‘iPotty’ (from CTA Digital) as the worst toy of 2013.

In case you’re wondering, the iPotty consists of a basic potty setup, but with the added innovation of a stand for holding an iPad (apparently an aid to toilet training). I’m also assuming that there is an app. There’s always an app.

Once the infant is placed on the potty, the iPad can be rotated 360 degrees around the seat on its stand, meaning that the device can be switched between vertical and horizontal views. The iPotty even has a protective touchscreen for use in case of…Well, you get the idea.

However, that’s not all. You’d think it would be, but it isn’t. The iPotty also has a clip-on cover that converts it into a regular seat, so your child can enjoy a quiet, insular, sedentary activity in the exact same place they just took a dump.

The CCFC’s TOADY (Toys Oppressive and Destructive to Young children) award, a dubious honour that the group bestows upon the worst toy released over a 12-month period, is a rather damning indictment of the iPotty’s usefulness.

Despite being described by its manufacturers as a “comfortable and fun place to learn to use the potty”, the CCFC’s Michelle Salcedo said that, “Children should be aware of the cues in their bodies as they learn. This toy takes this social/emotional focus out of the process and substitutes the hypnotism of a screen,” CCFC voter Alex Reynard added that the iPotty, “not only reinforces unhealthy overuse of digital media, it’s aimed at toddlers. We should NOT be giving them the message that you shouldn’t even take your eyes off a screen long enough to pee.”

He’s got a point.

According to the CCFC, potty training ought to be a time of positive interaction between child and parents. Sigmund Freud also famously suggested that potty training is a vitally important time for the development of a child’s psychology.

The iPotty is available online for about £30, but the iPad itself will need to be sourced separately (they start at about £400, so I’d suggest instructing your child to read a book instead, like the rest of us do).

Evidently, a parent did not design this device, as any parent knows that it is hard enough to get your child to focus on the task at hand in the first place, without throwing a few levels of ‘Angry Birds’ into the mix as well.

Amazingly, were CTA Digital to have marketed this product to a certain variety of adult, I personally believe that it would have been very popular indeed.

Anyway, that’s all from me this year!

Why do Cops Still use Only Motorola Walkie-Talkies for Communication?   Leave a comment

With a lot information on the internet about radio accessory’s it can be hard to discover the top and most candid information. here is a piece from a good site that i believe as true, do not quote me on it but please read and enjoy

OK, you said ‘cops’ which isn’t a word we generally use here in the UK. We Brits traditionally tend to refer, politely, to our ‘boys in blue’ as ‘bobbies’ or ‘the old bill’.

Anyway, given that, I’m going to assume that you’re asking about the American police and their longstanding partnership with the Motorola Corporation. OK, here goes…

According to Motorola’s official website,

“Law enforcement communications and police communications are essential assets to the safety and security initiatives in any community. Advancing police communications allow law enforcement to be more mobile and more rapidly respond to issues. Motorola offers an extensive product line to enhance law enforcement communications with less paperwork and faster, highly reliable performance”.

Motorola manufactured car radios as early as the 1920’s and US police and the fire brigade used a few of these, but it wasn’t until 1930 that the first police car radio was designed and built by Motorola. According to the official website,

“Sales of Motorola police radios began in November 1930. Among the first customers (all in the U.S. state of Illinois) were the Village of River Forest; Village of Bellwood Police Department; City of Evanston Police; Illinois State Highway Police; and Cook County Police in the Chicago area. As more police departments used radios, challenges emerged. Rough roads, engine noises, interference, high power consumption, and frequency instability led Paul Galvin to recognize that police departments needed a radio specifically engineered for patrol cars”.

In 1936, the Motorola Police Cruiser Radio was released. It was a success and Motorola have been a trusted brand by US Police ever since. In 1939, engineer Don Mitchell created the Mobile T6920 AM Transmitter. It was another success, becoming a logical choice for the police because,
“This complete Motorola two-way radio system was priced about one-fourth as much as the competition’s, and the transmitters could be installed in cars that already had receivers in the same frequency band. In 1940 the Police Department in Bowling Green, Kentucky, became the first customer for a complete Motorola AM two-way radio system. The radios were so well-designed that Galvin Manufacturing produced the same models for several years, until FM technology replaced them in the 1940s”.

Clearly, the US police have a long and fruitful relationship with the Motorola Company. This obviously applies to walkie-talkies as well. It makes good sense to employ a trusted, easy to use brand for successive generations of officers, who often have to respond swiftly and instinctively to various problems.
The first police to use two-way radios were actually Australian, but following the Second World War, mobile radios became standard issue in most first world countries.

Wireless Earphones, are they of great benefit?   Leave a comment

audioSome of these trained writers on the net are at such a high level that i wonder if any of them have ever written a paperback? well occasionally i like to highlight these brilliant articles and heres one i found remarkable the other day.

Hi and welcome to the modern group of replies to those earpiece inquiries. Ever desired to learn about something headphone, earphone or receiver related? Now is your chance. Due to the great amount of questions we’re so repeatedly asked, we’ve dipped into our mailbox and picked up the nine most significant (and most often submitted) inquiries. Enjoy.
Oh, by the way, if your query isn’t below, then just mail us an email and come back in a few… you could see it featured within the next series. Cheers.

Weve talked a whole lot concerning going wireless together on the website itself and on that FAQ section, but what does that actually indicate?

We live in an era at odds with itself. On the one hand, the downturn demands when we be tightfisted penny pinchers of that highest order, yet conversely, there is more top range technology on offer currently than at any other time in history. Our mission, then, as the leading customer technology website, is to protect your pockets by ensuring that merely the best products gain our seal of consent. If we attempted to con you into spending your hard-earned on any old garbage, theres an opportunity you may purchase it, but youd never come back, you would notify others not to and slowly, like a chaos butterfly flapping its wings, the fractal ripples of changeability would opened up around the Web and steal from our website of any/all likely customers. So we dont wish to do that. Ergo, we only advise the very best, both regarding performance and price.

The truth about wireless earphones is that these are an progressive and high functioning product virtually right across the board. The overwhelming majority of them are made to an excellent degree indeed. The purchaser reviews, over an assortment of sites, are unanimously good, even from your most demanding of nitpickers, so its secure to say that wireless earphones are the best way forward.

Of course, it’s also true that wireless headsets will set you back a great deal of cash. And, when youre gonna buy a collection, youll want mid range at the very least, to actually get the most out of your acquisition. This presents a problem and its clearly a problem that a great many of you are having since we have received a great deal of post about it.

As forever, the solution lies within the query. Wireless headphones are not expected to switch traditional headsets just yet and also if they do, were not looking at a tech that may make your old headphones obsolete. This really is, at the moment, a conflicting form of tech favoured because of its user friendliness and simplicity. Having no cables to trip over simply makes your life better.

Now, if youre planning on working out or engaging in any form of arduous motion that you really want to engage headsets in, youll unquestionably find wireless headphones to be worth the price, when youre only planning to upgrading your gaming headset or your regular earphones and are not sure about the extra outlay, you can save it for now. Believe us. Wireless headsets make your life less difficult, they work like a charm, in reality, but if you do not need to buy one and cant afford the fare, then our opinion should be to keep your wallet safely in your pouch.
